Two Ways to Read Pressure
Blood pressure is not one fixed number — it rises when you climb stairs, dips when you sleep, and shifts with stress, salt and sleep quality. That is exactly why a single occasional reading tells you so little.
The most trusted method, oscillometric, is what your pharmacy cuff uses. A small air pump inflates a bladder to gently squeeze the artery shut, then releases it while a sensor reads the tiny pressure oscillations in the wall. From those waves it derives systolic (peak) and diastolic (resting) pressure. Fitaos's most complete device (Max 7) builds this air-pump method into the wrist, so you get a proper reading without a separate arm cuff.
Our other wearables take a different, complementary path: optical PPG estimates a blood-pressure trend all day long, without any inflation. It is less precise at any moment, but it shows the shape of your day — the arc from morning calm to afternoon spikes — which a once-a-day cuff can never capture.
Most people only see blood pressure at a clinic, where nerves alone can skew the result. A device you wear daily reveals your real pattern — and pattern is what lifestyle change actually moves.

Wrist Blood Pressure — The Brand Playbook
Wrist blood pressure is rare. Only a few brands attempt it, and most wellness wearables skip it entirely.
Huawei Watch D — an air-pump (oscillometric) wrist blood-pressure watch, the closest mainstream peer to Fitaos's approach.
